Download hetki

Everything for one computer, in one folder: the installer, a readme, the installation guide, the user manual and the licence agreement. 86 MB for macOS, 32 MB for Windows. The sound library is not in it: it comes from inside hetki once a licence is in.

hetki opens silent and asks for a licence. That is expected. Paste the licence and press unlock.

The sound library is a separate download, about 10 GB. Once the licence is in, hetki offers to download it from inside the plugin. It needs about 11 GB free, and sound arrives once it is in. If it stops, press download again and choose the same place.

macOS 10.15 or later, Apple Silicon or Intel. Safari usually opens the download into a folder by itself; otherwise double-click the zip. Then open the installer inside. It is signed and notarised.

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. In your Downloads folder, right-click the zip, choose Extract All, and open the installer in the folder it makes. If Windows shows its SmartScreen notice, choose More info, then Run anyway.

What it installs

  • hetki as a VST3 plug-in
  • hetki as an Audio Unit on macOS, for Logic and GarageBand
  • hetki as a standalone app, for playing without a host

On macOS you choose which of these to install. On Windows the VST3 is always installed and the standalone app is your choice.

What happens next

  1. Install hetki, then open it in your music software.
  2. Paste your licence into the window that asks for it and press unlock, or drop the .hetki file onto it.
  3. Press download inside hetki. The sound library is about 10 GB and is checked piece by piece as it arrives. If it stops, press download again and choose the same place.

Just the installer

Already have hetki, and only want the new version? The installers on their own: macOS and Windows. Install over the old one; your licence, the library and your own moments stay.

A full licence never expires and works on all of your computers. It carries your name, so keep it private. A trial licence lasts seven days from the moment it goes into hetki.
